Strategy and systems built around you

The right solution starts with your reality.

NextMap Insights helps small businesses and nonprofits understand what is getting in the way, decide what matters next, and build practical systems that fit their people, budget, and goals.

We are not a one-size-fits-all solution. We help you find—and build—the solution that fits your organization.

Right-sized by design

Your organization does not need another package of things it cannot maintain.

Sometimes the answer is a clearer process. Sometimes it is an automation, a focused campaign, or better information. Often it is a thoughtful combination.

1
Listen before prescribingWe start with your goals, pressures, people, and existing tools.
2
Prioritize what mattersWe separate the essential next move from the merely possible.
3
Build for real lifeThe solution must be affordable, usable, and sustainable for your team.

Who we help

For leaders who can see the opportunity—and the strain underneath it.

You may not use words like “operational readiness” or “systems design.” You simply know the current way of working will not carry you where you want to go.

Small businesses

Your business has outgrown the way you have always done it.

You know your customers and your craft. We help organize the work around them so fewer things depend on memory, repeated effort, or one person holding everything together.

  • Create a clearer path from inquiry to customer
  • Connect information, documents, and follow-up
  • Automate repetitive work without losing the personal touch

Nonprofits

Your mission is growing faster than your systems.

We help turn attention into clear pathways for donors, volunteers, partners, and service recipients—while making sure your organization can support the response.

  • Assess outreach and Google Ad Grants readiness
  • Design distinct pathways for each priority audience
  • Align growth goals with staff and operational capacity

The NextMap approach

Assess. Map. Build.

The work begins with understanding—not selling you a predetermined answer. Each stage produces something useful, whether we continue together or not.

01

Assess

Understand where you are, where you want to go, and what is creating friction.

  • Goals and audiences
  • People and capacity
  • Processes, tools, and data
02

Map

Choose the right priority and turn it into a realistic, sequenced path forward.

  • Highest-value next move
  • Ownership and resources
  • Measures of success
03

Build

Put the solution into practice and make sure your team can use and sustain it.

  • Workflows and automation
  • Campaigns and conversion paths
  • Training, measurement, and improvement

You do not have to buy all three stages at once. The right engagement may be a focused assessment, one implementation sprint, or an ongoing partnership.

Experience in action

From one intake form to a connected client experience.

An owner-operated service business needed more than a new form. It needed a dependable way to move each inquiry into an organized working relationship.

I designed a Google Workspace system around how the owner actually served clients—reducing repeated setup while creating a more personal, consistent experience.

Past project experience · client name withheld
01A prospective client completes one clear intake form.
02The owner receives the information and an automatic notification.
03An organized client folder is created in Google Drive.
04Contracts, training materials, and useful links have a shared home.
05A personalized client hub supports appointments, two-way questions, and ongoing advice.

Experience you can use

I understand how organizations actually run.

For more than 20 years, I have worked inside environments where people, budgets, technology, customer service, and daily operations must work together.

My career spans hospitality, academic medicine, logistics, technology, and higher education. I have led teams of more than 500 people, managed multimillion-dollar operations and budgets, built programs, improved workflows, and helped organizations navigate growth and change.

I created NextMap because small businesses and nonprofits deserve access to serious strategic thinking without hiring a full-time senior operations executive or purchasing a large consulting package.

You will not receive a complicated report that sits on a shelf. We will identify what needs attention, decide what should happen first, and build a solution your organization can realistically maintain.

A nonprofit growth opportunity

Put Google Ad Grants behind a plan your organization can support.

Eligible nonprofits may receive up to $10,000 per month in in-kind Google Search advertising. The real opportunity is not simply running ads—it is creating clear, measurable paths for the people your mission needs to reach.

Check your readiness

Google determines eligibility and continued participation. The advertising credit is not cash funding, and meaningful results require active management and compliant campaigns.

01
Recruit volunteers

Reach people prepared to contribute time, expertise, or service.

02
Grow donor support

Create distinct pathways for individuals and corporate partners.

03
Generate service requests

Connect people searching for the programs you provide.

04
Prepare the organization

Strengthen the response, follow-up, and capacity behind every campaign.

Ways to work together

Start with the amount of help you actually need.

Every engagement is shaped around the problem, your capacity, and the outcome—not a fixed bundle of deliverables.

Recommended starting point

Growth Readiness Assessment

A focused review of your goals, audiences, operations, tools, data, and capacity—ending with clear priorities and a practical next-step map.

Focused implementation

Workflow and Automation Sprint

Design and build one high-value process that reduces repeated work, improves follow-up, or creates a better client or constituent experience.

Nonprofit growth

Outreach and Google Ad Grant Planning

Assess readiness, define priority audiences, design meaningful conversion paths, and connect outreach to the systems required to respond.

Ongoing support

Strategic Operations Partnership

Review performance, improve systems, work through emerging decisions, and add experienced operational perspective as the organization evolves.

A useful place to begin

What deserves attention first?

Answer five plain-language questions to identify the part of your organization most likely to limit growth. This is an initial signal—not a generic score or a sales diagnosis.

About 2 minutes
1. How clearly can your team name its single most important growth goal?
2. Do you know which outreach efforts produce customers, donors, volunteers, or qualified inquiries?
3. Does each important audience have a clear next step designed for them?
4. What happens after someone expresses interest?
5. If qualified demand doubled next month, how confidently could you support it?

Your first conversation

You do not need to arrive with the answer.

Bring the problem, the opportunity, or the part of the organization that no longer works as well as it should. We will start there and determine whether NextMap is the right fit.
